Rosemary and Mixed Veggie Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 beetroot
- 1 green tomato
- 3-4 baby carrots
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 3-4 sprigs of rosemary (about a tablespoon of rosemary leaves)
- Teaspoon of olive oil
- Teaspoon of sumac
- Chop all the veggies finely into roughly the same size.
- Make a dressing of the rosemary, olive oil and sumac.
- Pour over the salad.

What's sumac?
Hey Ami, Sumac is a middle-eastern/african berry that is ground down to make a powder. Its tart and sour, and can be substituted with a lemon.

I never eat sumac in my salad, in fact I just read your explanation/ link above...I think I couldn't find here in Turkey ^_^

@Tiffany: Any place that has middle eastern or african goods will have them. If not, lemon zest is a substitute.
